Add FM synthesizer with xmi support, Scummvm has already such support, probably a good place to start looking :)
Add seed revealer for maps
Add settings for random map generation(shutdownruner) (partially done)
Make it possible to use these maps in network/single player game(shutdownruner)(partially done)
Obtain/create a new free font
Make fog of war a per game setting in stead of in-game toggled
Add "Large Infantry" and "Heavy Troopers" (3 for 200% credits of 1, reduced to 1 at 50% health)
